ABOUT ME
Hello. My name is Dave and I have a PhD in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Ontario), a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BC) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
My approach to counselling is compassionate, culturally aware, integrative and relational. The foundation of my approach is Existential-Humanistic. I also draw on more contemporary approaches, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to help my clients face their struggle or concern.
